You need to know that a toboggan is a sled, not a knit winter hat. The word you should have used is toque. Otherwise, what was she doing with a sled on her head?
Hi Laura: Thanks for reading my story. After reading your comment about the knit hat I had to check it out since I've called it a toboggan all my life (I'm 73) and heard others call it that too. Wikipedia mentions several names besides tuque (dictionary spells it toque as you have). In the United States south and midwest (where I'm at) and Appalachia it is called a toboggan. Of course tuque or toque avoids the confusion with the sled. I did know the sled was called that too.
