New SF Novel The Silver Dart

My new science fiction novel, The Silver Dart has released recently.  See an earlier post for the buy link at Amazon.
Jade Cromwell cannot understand why his genius wife, Darla, left with aliens two years earlier leaving him and their daughter, Missy.  He knew they would eventually return and take Missy too as she was nearly as smart as Darla.  Six men appeared on Mars as Jade and Missy were headed for the breakfast diner.  Jade, Missy and their dog, Spike had the six men beaten when a seventh appeared and bashed Jade and Spike with a club.  After they recuperate Jade and Spike leave on a journey fraught with dangers to find Darla and Missy.  Darla's high tech ship the Silver Dart gives them hope to find them as they apparently left for a disant galaxy.  Along the way they meet militant people and people who are friendly.  They learn why Darla and Missy have been abducted.  A menace in space threatens millions of people and the explosion resulting sends Jade into a parallel universe.  Will he find his way back to our universe?
Leave a comment for the short synopsis and after May 8th I'll make a drawing by random number generator.  Later I may have a print copy as a prize after I see how this goes.

Hi Larry. I'd love to have a download of The Silver Dart. Your Science Fiction stories keep my teeth on edge.

Oh, and Happy Birthday. I hope it's a blessed day. You deserve it.

BTW, your blog is beautiful. I like the colors and the picture of an alien planet with Saturn faintly visible.

Thank you Laurie and Joy. Is 77 ten times as lucky as 7? I'm glad you like the art displays on the blog. I have a license giving me permission to display some of Chesley Bonestell's paintings. Thanks again for dropping by. I appreciate it.

Hi Larry! Thanks for the invite to your awesome looking blog. My husband is way into astronomy and has pics like the ones on your blog. I bet this story will be a great seller because SF seems to grab people. Happy Birthday and may you have many more so you can touch many hearts with your stories.

Hi Linda: Thanks so much for coming by. Not many folks show up here and I appreciate your comments on my blog. Chesley Bonestell is my favorite space artist and their organization is allowing me a license to display some of his paintings. I hope you're right about interest in my recent science fiction story. I was unable to generate any interest at the radio club last night, however. Maybe I'll do better at our alumni banquet in June. I admire you for all your novels and research.

Happy Birthday, Larry! You're a wonderful gentleman and a terrific writer. Thank you for inviting me to visit your awesome blog. I love it! We share a love of the stars as I have always been enthralled with star-gazing and astronomy. No doubt your novel is outstanding - I am going to purchase it and write a review for you. Congratulations, my friend!

Gina: Thank you for your wonderful comments. My other novel only in ebook form, Higher Mission has lots of descriptions of the bodies in our solar system. It is kind of you to plan on buying my new novel. I have your Reflections of the Heart on my to be read list. I've forgotten whether it is in print form or not. I'm trying to think how I can make my blog better as I hardly have any visitors. Thanks again forever being a loyal supporter. The Silver Dart has a lot of action.

Hi Larry,

I've been offline. Happy, Happy Belated Birthday to you! I love your sf books, and of course, would love a chance to win one.
I hope you've had a wonderful birthday.

Hi Gail: Thank you for coming by. I was late in sending out the invites so extended it until tomorrow the eighth. you'll be in the drawing to win the ebook version. I may later give the print version away too, not sure at this point. I hope to sell some at our alumni banquet first of June.

Fantastic, Larry, and congrats on getting this story into print and for the number of your age. :)

This book has been a long time coming, and I'm excited that it's finally happened! Love your cover too. :)

Miss Mae thank you for coming over and giving me visibility on Google too. That will certainly help me. Being 77 is very scary. Sue, my wife, will be 76 in September. I enjoyed writing this adventure and honoring the memory of my dog, Roscoe. In the novel his name is Spike. Two of the commentors have said they will download the ebook. I'll put the rest of you in the drawing and use the random number generator on the internet. Again, thank you Miss Mae for always being a loyal supporter. I have so many and they have shown here too.

There were six who replied on my blog concerning my new novel release. One, Regina, said she was going to purchase the novel and review it. So I took her out of the drawing. That leaves Laurie, Darcy, Linda, Miss Mae and Gail. The random number generator chose Gail. I will contact her via her email address.

Me: Good to hear from you and glad you are following my blog. My novels are not exactly best sellers. I'm glad to hear you are still doing races. Yesterday was the Springville 5K and as usual I did poorly. My time was 34:08 and that is almost my slowest race, last week being 34:44 at Bloomington Hardware and before that in the 33s. There are several in the 70+ age group most all of whom beat me. I have a sister-in-law who lives in Arizona, the Phoenix area. She came here for a visit recently. Hey, please keep in touch any time.
